The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) provides professional licensure requirements by state. Additionally, NCSBN identifies participating jurisdictions as part of the Nurse Licensure Compact. AU’s Accelerated BSN program does NOT meet the educational requirements for licensure in the U.S. territories of American Samoa, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of Palau.The program makes every effort to provide accurate and up-to-date information; however, individual state licensure requirements may change.

About the Post-Baccalaureate Accelerated BSN Program

In this fast-paced degree program, you’ll learn the essential knowledge and skills for successful nursing practice. Our Accelerated BSN Program utilizes state-of-the-art classroom, clinical and laboratory environments that begin the very first day of classes to provide a hands-on education designed to empower you for future success.

As part of the Accelerated BSN framework, you’ll receive the educational preparation needed to take the NCLEX-RN and obtain licensure. If you are interested in pursuing a career as an NP or CRNA, earning this foundational degree is the first step toward specialized careers in nursing.

Ashland University’s Accelerated BSN Program offers one entry point each fall semester, providing you with a clear and focused timeline to begin your nursing career. With this streamlined admissions process, you’ll have the opportunity to learn key nursing protocols and concepts in a supportive academic environment.
